Central Asia is a fascinating and one of the most under-researched regions. Throughout my academic travels, I often hear that universities in Central Asia do struggle to find academic staff who produce international-quality research.
We are passionate about and striving to place Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) on the world research map.
WIUT has recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. These historically short but full of successful events were the years of striving for excellence in teaching and learning, research and business collaboration, expanding activities in all areas, building its reputation and image in society.
Westminster International University in Tashkent celebrated its 15th Birthday on the 16th January. In its first
few years many doubted it would survive. WIUT has not only survived but has proved it could maintain the quality and standards required of an International University, whilst expanding student numbers.
Dear colleagues, students and friends,
I am glad to announce the first edition of the Research Digest. Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is recognized as the influential source of research within the Central Asian region and applauded for the quality and integrity of its research and education in international environment.
